Say Goodbye to Tedious Strokes - Perfect for Stickers and Graphic Covers!
I've got a cool Procreate outline drawing trick to share with you. If you're still tediously drawing individual strokes for your outlines, you're definitely need to watch my steps.

Step 1: Set the Stage To begin, make sure your subject is placed on a transparent background. This is crucial for achieving the desired effect. Once your subject is in place, create a new layer. To ensure the outline appears correctly, drag "Layer 2" down to the bottom of your layers panel. Then, fill this layer with a solid black color.
Step 2: Duplicate and Feather Duplicate the layer where your main object is located. Remember, select the second layer for this step. Now, it's time to apply the magic. Head over to the automatic selection tool and choose "Add." From there, select "Feather" and adjust the feathering percentage. For this demonstration, I chose a feathering value of 19%.
Step 3: Create the Outline Navigate back to the layer options and stay on the second layer. Fill this layer with a crisp white color. The real magic happens when you duplicate this white-filled layer multiple times – about 4 or 5 times should do the trick. After duplicating, merge these layers together. Repeat this process once more: duplicate the merged layers another 4 or 5 times and merge them again.
Step 4: The Eureka Moment As you follow these steps, you'll begin to notice something amazing happening. The edges of your subject will gradually transform, revealing a soft, blurry white light that's key to achieving the desired effect.
Step 5: Refine and Define Return to the automatic selection tool and select "Add." Now, hold your stylus on the screen and gently swipe left and right to adjust the size of the white area. Tweak it until you're satisfied with the outcome, then release.
Step 6: The Final Flourish Now, head to the upper left corner and access the actions menu. Choose "Add" and then "Cut." Tap the screen, and just like that, the fuzzy white border around your main object transforms into a clean, crisp white outline.
Step 7: The Finishing Touch It's time to add your personal touch. Select the brush tool and fill in any areas that may not be covered by the white outline. This step ensures your outline is flawless and ready to captivate your audience.
